Mike will be exhibiting with Priscilla Ritchie in the John Rank gallery, he makes functional stoneware, principally thrown on the wheel, sometimes slab work. Mike participates in the risky business of mixing and developing his own glazes, and also uses oxides to highlight the designs on impressed pots. Mike would like his pots to be functional and pleasing, in both form and decoration and to be part of a household, picked up and used frequently.
