Marie's graphic work has laid the foundation for her artistic career.  Marie is a painter and a printmaker and equally likes to produce works on canvas and paper. Her environment and travel have influenced her work.  In the past Marie has painted landscapes, still life (jugs) and commissioned portraits, she is currently painting abstracts.

Marie mainly paints in oils and produces prints using silkscreen and linocut techniques.  Marie usually produces a series of works related to a subject until she feels a need to develop a new idea.  Marie's latest paintings are totally colour focused and she hopes will communicate the meditative process of when she created them. They are calm and balanced. Meanwhile her prints are bolder and purely decorative and have a stronger impact.
