Lynne will be exhibiting in our Wilson Gallery, her inspiration comes from nature - the detail of nature: bark on the trees, lichen, dry stone walling, pebbles on the beach which she photographs for reference and recently she has started to record quick drawings in a sketchbook. 

When it comes to painting, Lynne works intuitively usually selecting a colour palette first, she uses acrylic paints and inks on wooden panels but also uses canvas and paper.  There is no limit to the tools to use – anything can produce a mark and create interest – from brushes/knives, wedges, pens even fingers.
